One day conference: ‘The Future of Srategic Service Partnering’

The establishment of long-term contracts with external organisations and private companies to provide a broad range of local services is becoming increasingly common in local government. Launching the final report of the Government’s Strategic Partnering Taskforce, this conference will give a significant opportunity to look at the future of strategic planning in local government.

Hosted by the New Local Government Network (NLGN) and supported by the ODPM and Strategic Partnering Taskforce the conference will include advice for both the public and private sectors on improving existing partnerships and creating new ones, and take a look at avoiding potential partnership barriers to facilitate real change.
