Conference plenary and seminar sessions include:
- breaking down institutional barriers
- sharing budgets, buildings and workspaces
- making better use of technology to aid remote working and sharing of information
- accountability and scrutiny
- efficiency through regional and sub-regional integration
- regional planning
In addition to the Keynote speakers, the conference will hear from:
Steve Machin, Chief Executive, North West Regional Assembly; Tim Gebbels, Director, West Midland Regional Observatory; Alan Clarke, Chief Executive, One North East; John Biggs, Assembly Member, Greater London Assembly; Cllr Shan Wilkinson, Wrexham County Borough Council; Malcolm Iley, Partner, Trowers & Hamlin; and Emily Robinson, NLGN and author of Living with Regions: making multi-level governance work.
