NLGN is hosting a special pre-launch briefing on the topic of Migration. This features high on the local government agenda and is a recent issue NLGN have researched on. New Migration: what does it hold for local authorities? is kindly sponsored by the Learning and Skills Council.
This timely event follows the recent media attention on Migration. The event will assess what, as an economic phenomenon, new migration holds for local authorities and what steps to improved local services would serve social integration. Issues for discussion will include flexible funding for services, multi-agency working and improving data collection.
