Ben Lucas is the Director of the 2020 Public Services Trust.

He was formerly Head of Research and Communications at the construction trade union UCATT, before moving to become Jack Straw’s adviser. He was chair of the Labour Coordinating Committee in the mid-1990s and then co-founded LLM Communications, a public affairs consultancy. He is now a member of the international advisory board of FD International, a business communications consultancy.
