The report explores the integration of transport at the Sub-Regional level, setting out the challenges and outlining key recommendations. In the current economic climate, rebuilding the British economy and regenerating our towns and cities is of utmost importance. Given this, we are asking how we can design a sub-regional approach to integrated transport that can act as a driver for the local economy and wider goals. Other aspects which will be taken into consideration in the recommendations include the ramifications of the Local Transport Act 2008, recent developments in sub-regional governance and how to join central, regional, sub-regional and local policy together.
