Investing for 21st Century Assets Research Seminar: Estate Management

Please join us for a research round table to discuss how local government should be investing in order to develop an asset base fit for the 21st century.

The round table will focus on property and land assets and will be held at 2-4pm on the 19th June 2012, in central London.

Generating income is about more than increasing waste collection and parking charges. Councils must reconfigure their existing asset base in order to capture maximum value and reinvest in the development of new assets that unlock ‘additional’ revenue streams. This will involve long-term estates management not simply the sale of assets.

An opening presentation from an expert practitioner will kick off initial discussion before smaller working groups are established to help the development of ideas.
