The way that councils work with colleagues in the NHS and other public bodies to redesign spending and services will be critically important to establishing the new architecture of public health. Healthy Dialogues provides a clear sense of how councils are starting to use their new responsibilities coming from the Health and Social Care Act to align services, within and beyond the authority to provide effective systems leadership.

This roundtables will feature discussion of the report’s themes and conclusions, how organisations have adapted to their new roles, but also how public health will continue to evolve in the future.

This roundtable will bring together 10-15 senior stakeholders to discuss these issues in a Chatham House rule environment.

Speaker: Dr Paul Plant, Deputy Regional Director of Public Health – London at DH
