Local service transformation: what works, the challenges and the barriers

Kindly supported by:

Keynote speaker: Nick Hurd MP, Minister for Civil Society.

The government has made it clear that they want councils to take the lead in integration locally by working collaboratively to co-design solutions with a range of local partners and with central government. A whole place approach to local service transformation, as demonstrated by the community budget pilots, has the potential to improve outcomes for local people and deliver better value for money for the taxpayer.

We will hear from Nick Hurd MP, Minister for Civil Society as well as representatives from the whole place community budget pilot areas, who are already integrating services with their partners locally. Attendees will also take part in challenge workshops throughout the day to identify and break down barriers to integration and service transformation.

To prepare for this event, we are asking that participants take part in a short survey on local service integration, so we can understand your priorities and the challenges that you face. This survey will directly feed into the event and will also form part of paper which we will be presenting to government. The survey takes no longer than 15 minutes to complete and you can take part in this here: Integrated services survey.
