Increasingly councils are viewing digital innovation as a way to deliver better, cheaper and more integrated services to local people. NLGN’s report, in partnership with O2 Local Government Digital Forum, outlines the benefits of digital technology to local councils, and explores the challenges hindering current progress in local government.
The report sets out key priorities to drive the digital agenda forward in the sector, and provides practical guidance for chief executives, officers and councilors to help them unlock the benefits of digital technology for their areas.
The launch will feature a panel discussion of the report’s themes and conclusions with a range of stakeholders including Catherine Howe, Chief Executive of Public-i, Raj Mack, Head of Digital Birmingham and Mark Adams-Wright, Managing Partner Local Government for O2.
