Transforming Local Government: What would the partners do?

Kindly supported by

The case for local government transformation is well understood. The shift needs to be made from intervention to prevention in order to remain sustainable and, increasingly, the goal is not only sustainability but also better aligned services to meet the holistic demands of citizens and place. But local government cannot transform in a vacuum, in order for real sustainable changes to be made other public organisations and agencies need to be involved and a collaborative approach needs to be taken. Health, housing, and the third sector will all be key players in the next wave of transformation.

For this dinner, we will hear from representatives of local government’s key partners on how they would transform local government in order to make collaboration easier as part of the next wave of transformation.
