Chair of NLGN, Dame Jane Roberts said:

“We appointed Adam from a very strong field and I couldn’t be more pleased. For twenty years, NLGN has been at the vanguard of transformation in local government and now we move on to an exciting new phase at this time of unique challenge and opportunity with Adam at the helm. Adam brings to the role of director an impressive record of innovation and ideas.”

Adam Lent said:

“I am very pleased to be joining NLGN. The opportunity to build on Simon’s fantastic tenure and work with such an influential staff team and innovative membership is very exciting. NLGN has a well-deserved reputation for helping its members seek out and implement the ideas that can deliver strong public services at a time of constrained resources. With the challenges for local government only growing, the NLGN’s mission is more relevant than ever. I look forward to delivering that mission to the very best of my ability.”
