On 28 January, Directors of Children’s Services and colleagues from across the country will meet in London to share and learn how their teams are using digital tools and techniques in the real world.
We all know that the tech is already out there, indeed, we often already own it. But are our teams maximising its value to reduce their own workload, join the dots and solve the biggest problems?
Our expert speakers for the day who will help us explore the nitty-gritty practicals, as well as wider vision, of making our tech work for us in the messy real world:
Derrick Anderson CBE, former Chief Executive of Lambeth Council and honorary fellow at London South Bank University.
Dr Adam Lent, Director of NLGN, former Director of the RSA Action and Research Centre and former Head of Economics and Social Affairs at the Trades Union Congress.
This event will take place 11am-2pm on Tuesday 28 January at The Stanley Building, King’s Cross St. Pancras. It’s presented by Social Finance, a not-for-profit organisation that partners with the government, social sector and financial community to find better ways of tackling social problems in the UK and beyond. It’s organised by NLGN, a LocalGov network and thinktank.
It’s free but by invitation only. If you would like to attend this event, register here
We look forward to seeing you there!
