In partnership with Barrow Cadbury Trust.
Many councils are now actively engaged in developing strategies and projects to help all people living in their area to benefit from economic growth. This workshop will examine the broad range of policy levers and resources currently available to councils that enable them to fulfil their inclusive growth ambitions.
At the workshop, we will discuss:
- The opportunities for and barriers to delivering inclusive growth in practice.
- The resources and levers currently available to councils to help them promote inclusive growth.
- Practical examples of how councils and local partners can identify, utilise and align these resources and levers to achieve inclusive growth outcomes.
This workshop is part of a research project, led by NLGN with the support of Barrow Cadbury Trust, on the delivery of inclusive growth in practice. A final report will be launched in January that will draw on the workshop, but discussions will observe Chatham House Rule and no comments will be attributed to attendees without firstly seeking permission.
