Nigel Keohane joined NLGN in summer 2007. His previous research publications for NLGN include The Politics of Traffic: a local route to reduced congestion and Leading Lights: Recruiting the next generation in local government. His current research includes the census and local authority data-needs, and the personalisation of services.
Before joining NLGN, Nigel served as a political assistant at Wokingham Borough Council, taught history at Queen Mary College and worked for the Learning and Skills Council. He has a BA and MA in history from Exeter University, and a PhD in political history from the University of London.
