Our Network

The network is a collaboration of around 50 organisations from the public and private sectors united by the belief that local government, through partnership working, can not only navigate the current spending reductions but turn present circumstances to their advantage.

NLGN membership is restricted to organisations that have a core commitment to innovation, from the smallest districts to the largest counties, and the established providers to new entrants. At 50 organisations, we’re small enough to provide a meaningful network experience, and large enough to convene conversations at the highest level across the sectors.

NLGN does not offer public affairs advice and equally we are not a representative body for local government. Rather, we provide members with unique opportunities to work with leading councils and corporates as part of a movement for better local government. As such, our network is at the heart of what we do and what we are trying to achieve.

Here are some NLGN testimonials.
