ADAM LENT Director

Adam has overall responsibility for the strategic direction, impact and efficient operation of the NLGN. He joined in November 2016.

His previous roles include Director of the RSA Action and Research Centre, Head of Economics and Social Affairs at the Trades Union Congress and Director of Research and Innovation at Ashoka – the premiere global network of social entrepreneurs. He holds a PhD from Sheffield University where he was also a lecturer and ESRC Research Fellow.

Adam grew up in Stanmore, notable for being the end of Jubilee line, as well as the end of the line for Boudicca, who fought her final battle on Stanmore Common. Fast forward to a later conflict, and the stately home Bentley Prior was used as Royal Air Force’s Fighter Command Headquarters in World War II. Today, it lives on as an upmarket private residential housing estate.
